The mission of TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Programs at Aims Community College is to assist first generation, low-income, and/or students with disabilities to achieve maximum academic success and career readiness. TRIO SSS will empower students to develop academic skills and experiences necessary to complete their postsecondary educational goals. 

TRIO Services are provided to students at all campuses, with the main TRIO office located on the Greeley Campus.

TRIO SSS is one of eight federally funded programs designed to provide services and assistance to low-income individuals, first-generation college students* and students with disabilities to maximize their educational opportunities. 

TRIO SSS Grants are awarded to higher education institutions like Aims in order to offer free academic services to eligible participants. As a federally-funded program, all SSS projects are required to provide the TRIO services outlined by the U.S. Department of Education to help students successfully complete their postsecondary education.
