First-Year Experience Group - Mondays @ 2 pm

You are not alone, so don’t go it alone! Join an FYE Group to connect with other first-year students, meet supportive Aims staff, explore campus resources, and learn practical tips to help you start college strong. Groups meet once a week for six weeks beginning the week of August 24.

We are excited to have you! Participating in a group is a fantastic way to connect, collaborate, and grow throughout the first six weeks of the semester. Please read these instructions carefully before claiming your spot.

⚠️ Important: How the Schedule Works

To keep the sign-up process simple, the registration portal only requires you to select a single date. However, this date is just your initial meeting.

Your Weekly Commitment: By signing up, you are committing to meet weekly on Mondays at 2:00 pm for the duration of the program (with the exception of Labor Day).

Step-by-Step Sign-Up Guide

1. Review Your Ongoing Schedule: Before choosing a slot, check your class syllabus and work schedule to ensure you are consistently free at this time every week.

2. Register: Claim your spot by submitting your information.

3. Block Your Calendar: Immediately after signing up, create a recurring weekly event in your personal calendar so you don't forget your upcoming meetings for the first 6 weeks of the semester. 

What Happens Next?

Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email containing your group details, the meeting location, and instructions on what to expect for your first session.
