Welcome Home
You made it! Now it’s time to find your people. Join us for the Welcome Home experience where you’ll connect with others, share your story, and start building the relationships that will shape your college journey. This is where your community begins.
As part of your orientation experience, Welcome Home is where you move beyond preparation and start building real connections.
What You’ll Experience
- Find Your People: Meet students who share your background, interests, and academic pathway.
- Build Community: Take part in conversations and activities designed to spark real connection.
- Start Strong Together: Walk into the semester already knowing you belong.
Schedule:
- 9:00- 9:30 AM: Check-in
- 9:30: Welcome and Opening Remarks
- 10:00 AM: Welcome Home: Support, Success, and Community
- 11:45 AM: Lunch w/team facilitators
- 12:45: Scavenger Hunt
- 1:20 PM: Student Panel
- 1:45 PM - 2PM: Raffle and Closing Remarks

Questions & Answers
- Where do I park for Orientation?
Parking at Aims is free! Please feel free to park in the North or East parking lots of the Welcome Center (4901 W 20th St.).
- What do I need to bring?
There is nothing specific you need to bring - just yourself and any guests you would like to accompany you!
- How many guests can I bring?
There is a limit of two guests per student. If you have any questions or would like to bring more guests, please reach out to admissions@aims.edu.
