Looking for the perfect way to start your college journey? Join us for Arty's Orientation at Aims Community College! This fun and informative event is designed to help you make a smooth transition into college life and get connected with the information, people, and resources you need for a successful first day.

Schedule:

9:00-9:45am: Check-in and Student Services Fair
9:45-10:10am: Welcome Address
10:10-11:30am: Campus Tours
11:30-12:15pm: Lunch and Student Panel
12:20-12:50pm: Dean of Students & Safety and Security Presentation
1:00-2:40pm: Next Steps Workshops- Complete your next steps to be ready to go by semester start!
2:45-3:00pm: Choose your own adventure! (Presentations led by Aims Resources)

Note: While not required, attending orientation is strongly recommended to help you feel confident and ready for your first day as an Aims student.

Questions & Answers

Do I need to register for classes before orientation?

Yes! You should meet with an advisor and register for classes before attending. Call the Student Station at 970-339-6222 or email studentstation@aims.edu for help with your Next Steps!

Where do I park for Arty's Orientation?

Parking at Aims is free! Please feel free to park in any of the adjacent lots (AA, BB, or CC) surrounding the Welcome Center (4901 W 20th St.).

What do I need to bring?

If you're already registered, please bring your schedule of classes- you will have the opportunity to explore campus and find your classes! We also recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes for the tour, a water bottle, and anything else that will make you feel comfortable throughout the day. :)

How many guests can I bring?

There is a limit of 2 guests per student. If you have any questions, please reach out to admissions@aims.edu.
